About the Role

The Junior Licensing Specialist is responsible for understanding Hyland's products that require licenses to be generated, creating those licenses, and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. In this role, you will utilize internal workflows to review orders, generate and deliver appropriate licenses, and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment in alignment with company policy. Your Role Responsibilities — Here's What You'll Do

  • Utilize internal workflows to review customer orders, generate, and deliver the appropriate license for revenue recognition accurately and efficiently.
  • Fulfill license requests from various internal departments in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with company policy.
  • Fulfill customer requests for new licenses or extensions according to policy, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements.
  • Provide timely communication regarding any issues or discrepancies to more experienced team members or leadership as needed.
  • Assist with other team member assignments and contribute to overall team success in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all licensing activities, regularly verifying work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure quality and compliance.

Role Essentials — What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a customer support or software licensing role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to regularly verify all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracy in license generation and delivery.
  • Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking, with the ability to manage multiple license requests and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Up to 5% travel time required, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

What We'd Like to See — Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in a software licensing, provisioning, or order fulfillment role, with a solid understanding of license generation workflows and revenue recognition processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill internal and external license requests accurately and in accordance with company policy, with a track record of maintaining high accuracy standards.
  • Experience providing timely customer communication regarding licensing issues or requests, with a customer-first mindset and strong follow-through skills.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork and a willingness to assist other team members and contribute to overall team success.
